Many people keep asking me why I don't eat meat. Let me start by saying I don't think there is anything wrong with meat as long as it's pretty much left alone. I own 5 different kinds of BBQ's. I use to argue with Vegans until I was blue in the face on why I eat and need meat. After intensive research and study, I humbly admit I was wrong. I will say if someone must have meat you better make darn sure it's organic meat (meat not containing mercury, steroids, hormones, antibitics, disease, etc.). But this "organic" meat, unless you eat it raw, really isn't that healthy according to scientific and medical evidence.

Thanks for the info. I've been considering becoming a vegetarian for awhile...or at least cutting back to eating meat once a week. I've been on low carb for about two weeks and this meat is making me sick...I don't even want to eat it anymore...but I want to continue for two more weeks but now it's time for fish. My five year old NEVER eats meat- he just doesn't like it. Maybe his body knows something mine has long forgotten. I enjoy ur blog- keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteHow come you are low carb? I am very high carb and low fat. Are brain and every living cell in our body thrives off of glucose and glucamine. Healthy carbs from fruits and veggies are vital. Maybe take a 10 day challenge trying to eat lots of fruits and veggies and some beans (vegan chili, vegan bean soup). I know so many people that do diets like medi-fast that is high protein, low carb and they lack energy and still get sick. Our body truly needs good sugar to thrive. Great job for your 5 year old! I would avoid dairy at all costs and cut back on meat. If you feel you must have meat, make sure it's organic lean meat. Good luck and thanks for sharing!
DeleteI am upon reduced carbohydrate for about fourteen days which beef can be generating myself ill...I don't perhaps want to try to eat this any longer...however i want to go on for two a lot more days however then it's time with regard to fish. My personal five year aged Never ever eats meat- they only will not like it. Possibly his system is aware something mine offers extended forgotten.
